Nick-Westcott on rethinking EU-African Relations

The Managing Director for Africa in the EEAS, Nick Westcott, examined the multi-faceted and diverse nature of relations between the EU and Africa, from Europe’s ongoing humanitarian assistance efforts with a number of African partner states, to the increasing trade and investment links between the EU and high-growth economies such as South Africa and Angola, the continuing dialogue on climate action, and the security issues arising from the current instability in Mali.
